Many seniors have been receiving a solicitation letter from a place called The Seniors Center, which asks people to send money to keep the center from closing. They use scare tactics and try to convince the receivers that it’s urgent that they send them a check or cash right away or their local senior center will close.
This is NOT from a Pennsylvania senior center or any senior center.
If you get this letter, do NOT send money. Do NOT call or write to them. Tear up the letter and throw it away. Many people have received it more than once. Throw it away every time you receive it.
